We're SEAI-registered, which means you can claim the government solar panel grant — up to €1,800 in 2026 — through us. We handle the SEAI application, carry out the installation, and notify ESB Networks on your behalf. You don't manage any of it.
The SEAI solar PV grant for 2026 is confirmed at €1,800 — the first year the grant has not been reduced since the scheme launched. On top of that, 0% VAT applies to domestic solar panel supply and installation, saving you hundreds more on top of the grant. To qualify, your home must have been built and occupied before 2021 and not have previously received solar grant funding at that address.
A typical 10-panel system (4.4kWp) on a south-facing roof in Dublin or Kildare will cover 40–60% of your annual electricity use. At current Irish electricity prices of 30–40c/kWh, most households see annual bill savings of €800–€1,400. Payback periods on installed systems, after the SEAI grant, run between 6 and 10 years. After payback, the electricity your panels generate is free.
Battery storage can be added at installation or retrofitted later. Pair solar with an EV charger and charge your car from your own roof — we install both and manage both grant applications under the same project.
Is Your Home Suitable?
South or south-west facing roofs get the best return in Ireland. East and west-facing roofs still generate worthwhile output. We assess shading, roof condition, and your fuse board capacity before recommending a system. If your board needs upgrading to accommodate solar, we include that in the quote upfront.
